Final Inscription Form now available Dear Friends, First of all, thank you for your provisional registration to the 21st European Kendo Championships (EKC). We are now distributing the Final Inscription Form (Annex 02, Annex 03) by regular mail, e-mail and at the championships webpage www.kendo.pt . Please find attached the Inscription Form and be careful with the following: - Registration of the National Delegation (Kendokas, Officials and Supporters) is made only by the National Association /Federation member of the European Kendo Federation.- Registration for Dan Grading is made directly through and by the EKF- The main (and the Headquarters) Hotel for the Championships is a 4 Star Hotel located only 900m (5 min walk) from the Sports Hall. Because of the anticipated high numbers of participants there is the possibility of the HQ hotel not having the capacity to accommodate all the delegations (only up to 8 supporters are allowed from each delegation to be accommodated in the HQ Hotel, the others will stay at another hotel, also a 4 Star Hotel but not so close to the Sports Hall).Because of that possibility the room reservation will be on a first come first serve basis. The last delegations to send us the final form and to do the wire transfer will be accommodated in the second Hotel - Both Hotels will have shuttle-buses available to take everybody to and from the Sports Hall. - After we receive your final-entry form, we will send you a confirmation of the reception and state the exact amount you should wire transfer to our bank account. Your registration will be complete only after the reception of the wire transfer.If you do not receive any confirmation from us within 5 days after you submit your final entry please contact us to 21ekc@kendo.pt to ask if we received your form. - Do not forget that as it is stated in point 13 of the 21st European Kendo Championships Rules and Regulations the EKC participants must insure themselves against any mishaps. It is each country organization that is fully responsible for all their delegation members (officials, competitors and supporters) from their country during the whole length of their stay in Portugal.Therefore it is requested to each organization to do an insurance for all their members against accidents, diseases as well as civil liabilities for the whole period of time that they remain in Portugal. The organization of the 21st European Kendo Championships discards any responsibility and will not be accounted for. Instructions to fill out the Final-entry Form: Annex 02 Legend:

To fill the Annex 03 form you just need to write in the fields unlocked: Participant’s details for Hotel reservation and Sayonara party: Sayonara party – put an X if the participant want to attend the Sayonara party Hotel Reservation: - The dates indicated in the Hotel reservation area are the actual nights that the participant will sleep in the Hotel.- Below the day put an S if the participant will stay in a single room or a D if the participant is going to share the room with someone else.Do not forget that the dinner of the night you arrive and the breakfast of the of your departure are included in the value that you pay even if you do not use it Room Share – Put N (number) of the person you want to share your room with Bank Details for wire transfer

Drawing The drawing of the 21st European Kendo Championships will be conducted in Lisbon on Saturday, 17th of February 2007 during the III International Ariga Seminar.
